I initially painted bunny inspired in the guttural primal style inspired by Die Antwoord the South African Rap group and then I decided to paint a popped collar blue robe , with a “window” strap and eye coming out of the center of his chest. He is wearing peplum pants that curl out at the bottom . Yes, I know he is a fashion Icon.

Artist Statement :

They say that the brain is mostly made of grey matter, and we interpret the collection of empty spaces, so a rose isn’t simply a rose it’s a collection of data

People are always searching for deeper meaning

 To find a way out of our bodies the techno-sphere, the gritty slum, the acidic city

I feel as though I'm always looking out of myself in order to expand my 3rd eye

I look out at the clouds and marvel at them the myriad of colors one may feel stuck in their life yet the colors always change and I make up stories about them with my subconscious mind as they slowly move like a slowly unfolding story, that seems to reschedule these depths that slowly dissipate unless I jot it down onto canvas otherwise I let it permanently my subconscious mind, open my third eye, percolate, gestate and come through in my paintings in other ways.

This is true of moon-gazing as well, where I let my eyes skew, get cloudy, and let the information from the moon come through, often times this looks like circular rings interlacing in various pastel colors, one of my leitmotifs.

sitting down at my drafting table, I often see either a vision within or without. If it's without I see half forms almost like in periphery already on the paper and I just gracefully move my hand along as if tracing a shadow sometimes there are visions within, colors and forms that I see in my mind's eye as if a future self-guiding me and it creates the most beautiful symbolist composition.
